- Names, descriptions, and prices of products you choose to track
- Product categories and variant information
- Product image URLs
- Price history snapshots of your own products
- Competitor product URLs (those you add manually or discovered automatically)
- Competitor price snapshots (from publicly accessible pages only)
- Scan job records and statuses
- AI recommendation history
- In-app activity logs
PricePilot AI collects and processes the following data from your Shopify store:

We only request **read_products** and **read_inventory** Shopify scopes. We never access customer data, order data, or payment information.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Price Monitoring: Periodically tracking and comparing competitor product prices
- AI Recommendations: Generating advisory pricing suggestions based on price data (no automatic price changes are made)
- Reporting: Displaying price history charts and trend analysis
- Notifications: Sending email alerts for significant price changes (optional, opt-in)
- Service Improvement: Enhancing app performance and resolving issues
Collected data is used solely for the following purposes:
Your data is never sold to or shared with third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances.
3. Data Retention
- Store and session data: Until the app is uninstalled
- Price snapshots: 12 months (may vary by plan)
- AI recommendations: 6 months
- Scan job records: 90 days
- Email notification logs: 30 days
Your data is retained for the following periods:
When you uninstall the app from your Shopify store, a 30-day grace period applies before deletion. If you reinstall within this period, your data is preserved. For immediate permanent deletion, please contact us.
4. Your Rights (GDPR / Data Protection)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Turkish data protection law (KVKK), you have the following rights:

- Database access is managed on restricted, secure infrastructure

- Only publicly accessible product pages are scraped; login-protected pages, CAPTCHA-protected content, or paywalled content are never accessed
- No unnecessary customer data is collected
